  • Notes
    • Thomas Buckley (known as blind uncle Tom) (born 1870 in Birmingham) lost his sight later in life.
Rumoured: went to see a Villa match at Villa Park - sight ok, came out and could not see. Sold newspapers on a street corner after going blind. Always referred to as being quite brainy. Lived in Inkerman Street, Aston with his mother Mary Elizabeth (Hassip/Moore/Buckley) = Ladds until 1921 when she was burnt to death in a house fire. He then married Ann Elizabeth Powell in Aston: Reg. September Q. 1922 6d 1218.
